Authorities Dismantle Glendora Marijuana Operation Worth $500,000

An anonymous tip led police to a nondescript storage unit where the operation took place.

Glendora Police dismantled a sophisticated marijuana operation containing several thousand marijuana plants and equipment worth half a million dollars Tuesday morning.

The police were led to an industrial complex in the 2000 block of East Gladstone Street where the operation took place after receiving an anonymous tip on Monday.

Two cousins, Noah and Sheldon Calderon of Anaheim Hills, were arreseted and booked on suspicion of cultivating marijuana.

Police estimate the $500,000 operation took a year, maybe two, to establish, said Captain Tim Staab of Glendora Police.

According to Glendora Police, the two men are being held in the Glendora Jail and will likely be arraigned Wednesday at Citrus Court in Covina.
