Arcadia Man Hangs Self Near Azusa Riverbed

Authorities have not released the identity of the suicide victim.

Coroner's officials have ruled the death of a 45-year-old Arcadia man a suicide.

Azusa Police told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune that a hiker found the body hanging from a tree Wednesday near the 1900 block of Azusa Avenue or San Gabriel Canyon Road at 6:43 p.m.

The body was the second found that day, the newspaper reported.
