Adult, Minor Accused of Graffiti Spree at Glendora School

The 18-year-old and 12-year-old are accused of $2,000 worth of damages to Sunflower Alternative School.

An adult and a minor is responsible for $2,000 worth of graffiti damages at a Glendora alternative school, say Glendora Police.

A 12-year-old and Justin Cardoza, 18 were apprehended after police say they scrawled graffiti in a dozen places at Sunflower Alternative school, 1505 S. Sunflower Ave.

The vandalism was reported before 10 a.m. Saturday. The 12-year-old was released to his parents, with a written promise that he would appear in court.

Cardoza is set to appear in court Tuesday.

Hopefully their parents will be libel to pay for the damages. And if I were their parents, I'd have them work at home (or wherever work was needed) until they raised the money to pay it off themselves. But that's just my perspective.

I agree with B. K. A person that does wrong and use up police time should pay for the time they are being use. Like the guy standing on roof for hours.

A 12 year old and an 18 year old (adult!) Um, what's wrong with this picture? I hope we aren't just looking at the issue of tagging.

Hey Mikey's Mom - yeah you got that right. My grandson is the 12 year old that (no excuse whatsoever) has been a victim of severe physical and emotional child abuse by his father whose rights were completely terminated by the courts. He's troubled and looking for an older influence ... unfortunately he picked a scum-bag, low-life, methamphetamine user to hang out with. Me and his mother are appalled at this and are doing everything in our power to remedy the situation.
