[UPDATE] 3 Involved in Fiery Crash Near Glendora Mountain Road
The three victims were pulled from the burning wreckage early Thursday morning and were airlifted to a hospital.

The vehicle carrying three passengers that went off of Glendora Ridge Road, seven miles west of Mt. Baldy Road, plunged between 400 and 600 feet before catching on fire and burning a half acre of brush early Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at around 12:30 a.m., said Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector Matt Levesque.

According to Levesque, the heat of the engine and the exhaust ignited the brush fire.
The three men in the vehicle -- Benjamin Rapoza, 18, of Riverside; Morion Thomas, 20, of Moreno Valley; and Daniel Chambers, 20, of Riverside -- suffered major cuts and abrasions, and Rapoza suffered a broken leg.

A passerby climbed down the cliff to try to help the victims and was overcome by smoke. Paramedics treated and released him.
The three crash victims were airlifted to USC Medical Center. Their condition is still unknown.
The fire was extinguished by 4:30 a.m.
[UPDATE] According to the California Highway Patrol, the three men injured in a car crash after their Mini Cooper plunged down a cliff into the Angeles National Forest early Thursday morning were Benjamin Rapoza, 18, of Riverside; Morion Thomas, 20, of Moreno Valley; and Daniel Chambers, 20, of Riverside.
The three men suffered major cuts and lacerations, while Rapoza suffered a broken leg.
The three were rescued by Los Angeles County Fire and San Dimas Search and Rescue teams and were flown to USC Medical Center.
The accident is still under investigation and is not yet known what had caused the accident.

Los Angeles County firefighters pulled three people from a vehicle that went off a cliff in the Angles National Forest near Glendora early Thursday morning.
The vehicle fell several hundred feet from a cliff near Glendora Mountain Road and Glendora Ridge Road at around 12:30 a.m. and caught on fire, said dispatch supervisor Michael Pittman of the LA County Fire Department.
The three victims were airlifted to hospital.
Their condition is still unknown.
