Closures Coming to 210 Ahead of Gold Line Construction

Partial and full eastbound lane closures to commence tonight on specific on-ramps as crews continue working the bridge that will be the "Gateway to the San Gabriel Valley."

Construction authorities announce that the eastbound lanes of the Foothill (210) Freeway will experience closures near the construction site of the Gold Line Extension bridge.

Onramps to the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway will be closed at Rosemead  Blvd., Michillinda Blvd. and Baldwin Avenue beginning at 9 p.m., Jan. 3. Partial lane closures will commence at 11 p.m. Full closure of the eastbound will begin at 12 a.m. and last to 5 a.m., authorities said, with two lanes reopening after.

All remaining lanes and all onramps will reopen by 6 a.m.

The lane closures will begin on the Freeway starting at or about Rosemead Blvd., with full eastbound lane closures beginning at Baldwin Avenue. Partial and full lane closures end at Santa Anita Avenue.

Drivers should expect traffic delays on the eastbound 210 Freeway as construction crews continue building the bridge's columns in the center median. During this time all eastbound lanes will be completely closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured onto Foothill Blvd.
