Turning E-Waste Into Food for Needy

Here is a way to dispose of any unwanted E-Waste and also help feed the needy.

Montclair Plaza is sponsoring a free E-Waste recycling collection drive on Feb. 15-16, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with at least 20% of the proceeds from the electronic equipment collected going to Sowing Seeds for Life, the La Verne-based regional food bank that provides food and services to some 6,000 people per month. The founder and CEO of Sowing Seeds for Life is Glendora resident Vicki Brown.

The E-Waste drop-off site will be near the Robbins  Brothers parking lot across from Sears in the Montclair Plaza, 5060 E. Montclair Plaza Lane.
