This is a reminder about a great charity golf tournament taking place Monday at Glendora Country Club, with a noon shotgun start. It is the fourth annual Sowing Seeds For Life Celebrity Tournament.
Legendary Kings announcer Bob Miller will be there an hour before tournament play to sign autographs and pose for photos and will be there all day and night.
Emmy Award winning sportscaster and acclaimed entertainer Roy Firestone will do his full, one-hour act following tournament play. If you've never seen it, it is something to behold.
Other celebrities there will include former UCLA basketball coach Jim Harrick, UCLA football announcers Chris Roberts and Matt Stevens, and former USC and Buffalo Bills cornerback Chris Hale.
An amazing auction that features a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a day on the set of Fox's NFL pregame show in Century City and mingle with the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Strahan (sorry, no Kelly Rippa). No, they will not be at the tournament. This opportunity goes to only to the winning bidder.
Other auction prizes include a visit for four to Vin Scully's booth at Dodger Stadium and a visit for four to Trevor Denman's booth at Santa Anita where you can stay and watch him call a race.
The fee for all this is only $200 per player. Tickets to just the dinner at $100.
