The win was the third in as many games after being humbled by league leader Etiwanda 57-35 last Tuesday night.

“I can make an excuse and say that we didn’t have all our players and that’s why we lost, “ Glendora head coach Mike Le Duc said of the loss to Etiwanda.  “But I wont.  We just stopped competing and stopped making our shots.  They played well, and we didn’t.”

Against the Braves, Glendora started out slowly.  In fact, both teams started out slowly, as neither team could find the basket as they played to a 10-10 tie to end the first quarter.

Alta Loma would pull away in the final minutes of the second quarter behind eight unanswered points by Mark Borgeson to take a 26-20 lead.  Colletta, however would answer, as he hit a runner from behind the arc at the buzzer to close the half 23-26.

Borgeson finished with 13 points, three steals and three rebounds.  Isaiah Moreland also scored 13 points, three rebounds and an assist, while Yusef Shelton added 8 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots.

Glendora would go on an 8-0 run to open and hold the braves to only five points in the final frame to seal the victory.

Glendora (15-5, 2-1) looks to continue its winning ways as it welcomes Upland, Friday night.  Tip off time is at 6:30pm
