Area Residents Gather for Charity Walk
14th Annual CROP Hunger Walk brings awareness, donations to fight local and global hunger and poverty.
With running shoes, tennis shoes, and even sandals strapped to their feet, hundreds gathered to walk in unity to raise awareness about a problem plaguing millions today: hunger.
The 14th annual East San Gabriel Valley CROP Hunger Walk descended on Glendora, Sunday. Around 200 participants from numerous area churches walked the three mile course to bring attention to local and global poverty and collect donations to help end hunger.
