Animal to Blame For Early Outage in Glendora
Power was restored to residents before 7 a.m., officials said.
Glendora and Covina residents were without power this morning after an unfortunate critter made contact with some overhead power lines Friday.
The outage occurred at 5:39 a.m. near West Bonita Avenue and Arrow Grand Circle, according to officials at Southern California Edison. Over 1,000 customers were left in the dark while Edison crews worked to reestablish power. Electricity was restored at 6:55 a.m., officials said.
Boundaries of the outage extended from Dawson Avenue to the north, East Cienega Avenue to the south, Farber Avenue to the east and North Barranca Avenue to the west.
