Meeting of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865, Amanda Stokes Tent

AM on August 28, 2013 at the Peppertree Restaurant, 1020 East Route 66,
Glendora, CA  91740. Pamela Kohl, Pharm. D. will present a program on Civil War Era Medicine.


The DUVCW is a
non-profit organization founded for the purpose of perpetuating the memory of
our ancestors who served honorably in the Union Army, Navy, or Marine Corps and
Revenue Cutter Service. We are involved in historical preservation, observance
of patriotic anniversaries, and the study of American History--particularly the
Civil War!  The minimum age for
membership is eight years of age and any woman with one or more ancestors
through lineal descent who fought in the Civil War for the Union.
