MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY - SEW 4 KIDS - SAN DIMAS ROYAL MOBILE HOME PARK

Join us to Sew 4 Kids on MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY at San Dimas Royal Mobile Home Park! We need your help to cut, sew, iron and package our pillowcases for the sick children in local hospitals who are fighting cancer or other serious illnesses. We serve 6 hospitals in the Los Angeles County Hospitals including Children's Hospitals in Los Angeles, Miller's Children's Hospital in Long Beach, Mattel's Children's Hospital in Westwood, Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles, Huntington Hospital in So Pasadena - Cancer Cen...ter and City of Hope in Duarte. We also sew with the families at the Ronald McDonald House - Los Angeles, Pasadena and Long Beach. We will be in the Recreation Room which has lots of room for you to bring your sewing machine and sew with us. Bring donations of fabric for bright cheery pillowcases for the children ages 0-20 in local hospitals. We need young teen and young adult fabrics especially for boys and young men. Sports, outdoor activities, superheroes, cars and trucks are all good examples. Bring your friends and family to Make A DIFFERENCE DAY and help us to make these  wonderful pillowcases.  No sewing experience necessary. We have volunteers who can teach you to sew the pillowcases. If you are a student and need community service hours --- Come by and bring your friends! We are a non profit organization and your help will bring smiles to the sick children who will be spending holidays in the hospital this year!
