Silverado Senior Living will be hosting a Veterans Day Event from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at their facility located at 125 W. Sierra Madre Ave in Azusa. The featured speaker will be Joe Rocha, Mayor of Azusa, with an appearance by Azusa Councilman, Robert Gonzales. Troop 185 and Pack 188 will be assisting in the Flap Presentation, with an invocation and message presented by Rev. Betsy Straeter, Associate Pastor at Glenkirk Church. Entertainment will be provided by The Harmony Sisters. There will be a Veteran Resource Table provided by the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs and the Citrus College Veterans Center. Light refreshments will be available.
