At this upcoming general meeting, John Lundstrom will kick off a double feature of presentations with the history of the Glidden Villa and  how it eventually became the Albourne Ranch and finally our beloved Rubel Pharms. Afterwards, Ryan Price will discuss the history of how the town of Alosta got it name, inspired by the recently opened Alosta Brewing Company in Covina.

This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Hope you can join us!

I think I might have attended this meeting re Alosta and Glidden held in the library if I had known about it before the meeting. Meeting was Monday and the article was Tuesday????

Hi Nancy - not sure why the article ran Tuesday, the event was listed as Monday. Hope you will try again. Our next program will be in May - topic TBA but there was technical problems so the "Alosta" talk needs to be rescheduled.
