Another storm is forecast to hit Southern California into the weekend.

The storm may bring heavy rain and mountain snows to the southland Friday and into Saturday.

However, computer models are showing discrepancies on the exact timing of the storm system, according to the Weather Service.

“The current thinking is that rain will develop on the Central Coast late Thursday night…reaching the Los Angeles Basin sometime Friday or early Friday night,” according to a statement by the National Weather Service.

The storm has a potential to bring 2 to 5 inches of rain in the foothills and mountains.
