8:45 a.m. Protesters are gathering in front of St. Lucy's Priory, an all-girl Catholic High School in Glendora, to march in support of a gay teacher who was fired from the school after photos of his same-sex wedding ceremony were published in a newspaper.
The protesters are gathering along Sierra Madre Avenue in front of the school for a march at 9 a.m. Glendora PD has brought out extra enforcement for the march.
Ken Bencomo was fired from his job at the private high school last month. Protesters are demanding that the school reinstate Bencomo.
