Police Blotter: Theft, Drugs and DUI’s

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, July  8

3:57 p.m. Claudia Dinorah Ponce, 45 of Glendora, was arrested at 133 W. Route 66 and charged with theft.

9:02 p.m. Travis James Tuckness, 52 of Glendora, was arrested at 133 W. Route 66 for disorderly conduct.

11:50 p.m. A resident on Sunflower Avenue reported spotting a masked intruder in dark clothing in her garage. Police set up a containment around the home, but found no suspect.

Tuesday, July 9

8:14 p.m. Michael Bill Nikolopoulos, 34 of Covina, was arrested at 750 Oak Tree and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

9:04 p.m. Matthew Gallegos, 36 of El Monte, was arrested at 619 W. Route 66 for possession of a controlled substance.

10:13 p.m. George Kalyviaris, 33 of Upland, was arrested at 400 W. Foothill Blvd. and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, July 10

12 a.m. A hit and run was reported on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Lone Hill Avenue. A motorist hit a vehicle and fled on foot.

1:45 a.m. Carlos Edwardo Munoz, 40 of Glendora, was arrested at 646 W. Laxford and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

7:55 p.m. A possible overdose was reported in the 400 block of N. Washington.

Thursday, July 11

12:58 p.m. Roberta Rae Hernandez, 32 of Azusa, was arrested at Walmart, 1950 E. Auto Centre Dr., and charged with burglary, fraud and possession of a forged drivers license.

7:39 p.m.  Alfonso Perea, 20 of Riverside, was arrested at 1305 S. Lone Hill Blvd. for driving without a license.

Friday, July 12

11:47 p.m. Police received disturbance calls regarding a group of teenagers loitering around Catherine Park and Fern Dell. They were reportedly throwing beer bottles.

Saturday, July 13

12:19 a.m. Gilbert Michael Abeyta, 33 of Azusa, was arrested at 600 E. Gladstone St. and charged with a DUI.

12:45 a.m. Nicholas Isaiah Chacon, 32 of Glendora, was arrested at 600 E. Route 66 and charged with a DUI, having a blood alcohol level higher than 0.8 percent.

8:47 p.m. Steven James Sieber, 49 of Baldwin Park, was arrested at Grand and Route 66 for theft with three or more prior theft convictions.

Sunday, July 14

11 a.m. A man was reported not breathing in the 18000 block of Milton. He was dead by the time police responded.

3:13 p.m. Joseph Daniel Robles, 42 of Glendora, was arrested at 600 W. Route 66 and charged with disorderly conduct.
