Police Blotter: Burglaries, Drugs and a Dead Body

Local police activity for June 3 to June 9.

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 3

2:53 a.m. – Lyle Joseph Babineau, 39, was arrested at 352 W. Foothill Blvd on domestic battery charges.

10:34 a.m. – Alfonso Ernest Galvan, 40, was arrested at 600 S. Santa Fe Ave.  and booked for theft, being under the influence of a controlled substance and vandalism.

9:13 p.m. Enoch Augustine Rivera, 26, was arrested at 1960 E. Auto Centre Drive for possession of drugs.

10:15 p.m. Ryan Anthony Migliori, 25, was arrested at 1950 E. Auto Centre Drive and booked for making criminal threats.

Tuesday, June 4

5:09 a.m. Lowfay Sites, 49, was arrested at 608 W. Route 66 for making criminal threats and possession of a controlled substance.

3 p.m. Jesus Rangel, 29, was arrested at 940 S. Grand Ave. and charged with robbery in the second degree and possession of burglary tools.

Wednesday, June 5

10:24 a.m. Kevin Thomas Courtice, 19, was arrested at 837 Hollyvale Ave. on DUI charges.

Covina Police and agents with Homeland Security arrested John Boyle, a Glendora resident and teacher at Royal Oak Middle School Wednesday morning, for possession of child pornography.

Thursday, June 6

8 a.m. Power failure tied up traffic at Grand and Baseline avenues.

Covina Police arrested a Glendora man and his co-conspirator Thursday afternoon after the pair answered a Craigslist ad and robbed the seller when they met up with him.

2 p.m. A fuel spill caused major traffic backup  off the Sunflower Avenue exit.

11:36 p.m. Glendora Police said a man was beaten by a group of men in a Glendora parking. The man, who suffered injuries on his face and head, said he did not know his attackers.  

Friday, June 7

8:38 p.m. Robert Aaron Faris, 39, was arrested at 660 E. Claraday and charged with making criminal threats.

Saturday, June 8

1:35 a.m. Larissa Helene Aggers, 33, was arrested on Virginia and Pennsylvania avenues on DUI charges.

3:19 p.m. Jonathan Juarez, 24, was arrested at 1225 S. Lone Hill for burglary.

Sunday, June 9

11 a.m. Glendora Police discovered a deceased man sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Diamond Ridge Shopping Center. No foul play was suspected.
