Former students of St. Lucy's Priory attempted to attend the school's monthly school board meeting to participate in a silent protest Wednesday, but were prevented from entering the school's campus.
The protesters were told by campus security that the meeting was open to only school board members and lawyers, according to protest organizer Brittany Littleton.
The protesters are demanding that the Glendora Catholic high school reinstate former teacher Ken Bencomo after the school fired him when photos of his same sex marriage ceremony were published in a newspaper in July.
