Hot July 4 Weekend Ahead

The National Weather Service forecasts temperatures reaching the mid to late 90s during the holiday weekend.

As the start of summer welcomed temperatures in the late 90s, the National Weather Service has forecast slightly milder weather this week. Still, temperatures could heat up again for the July 4 weekend.

Monday
Today’s high is expected to hit the mid 90s, although tempered by a southwest wind between 5 and 15 mph this afternoon. Nighttime low is 64 degrees.

Tuesday
Tuesday’s high will dip from Monday to the late 80s. Clouds could roll in Tuesday night, with a low of 62 degrees.

Wednesday
Patchy fog before 11 a.m., but otherwise mostly sunny with a high of 84 degrees. Nighttime low is in the late 50s.

Thursday
Thursday is sunny with a high near 85 degrees. Nighttime should be clear with a low of early 60s.

Friday
Temperatures climb slightly to a sunny low 90s.

Saturday and Sunday
The holiday weekend forecast is sunny and hot, with temperature highs reaching the high 90s. Nighttime lows will reach the mid to high 60s.
