Glendora Voted Best Friendly City: Do You Agree?

Glendora earns awards from the San Gabriel Newspaper Valley Group for the second consecutive year.

Glendora once again won distinctions from the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper Group, earning the awards for “Best Friendly City” and “Best Downtown” in its annual Readers Choice Awards.

Glendora also won the awards in 2012.

Glendora’s Village Center plays host to a variety of family-friendly events, including the Chalk Walk Festival, Halloween Walk and the Holiday Stroll. The Saturday Farmers Market has also been added to its list of events.

“It should not be surprising to learn that Glendora has been voted ‘Best Friendly City,’” said Mayor Joe Santoro in a statement. “The City offers several community events, parks, and shopping centers, open not only to Glendora residents, but also to visitors from neighboring communities. The City of Glendora, its businesses and residents provide everyone with a welcoming and friendly environment.”
