Glendora Officers Take Tips, Raise Money for Special Olympics

The annual fundraiser took in more than $2,500 for the Special Olympics.

By day, they protect the community, but by night they were filling beverages and serving bread for the annual Tip a Cop fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics.

Patrons at Spaghetti Eddie’s donated their tips for Glendora Police officers’ service Wednesday night to help raise money for the Special Olympics.

According to Greg Oberon, the Glendora Police and Special Olympic liaison, the event raised more than $2,500 for local Special Olympics athletes.
