'Foothill Bandit' Who Robbed Glendora, Arcadia Banks Sought By FBI

The man allegedly hit two banks in Glendora and Arcadia since May 28.

The FBI is searching for a man dubbed the Foothills Bandit, who is believed to have robbed two banks in Arcadia and Glendora, according to FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.  

The man, described as white between the ages of 23 to 30, 5-foot-seven-inches and 150 to 160 pounds, allegedly robbed the Union Bank, 601 W. Route 66 in Glendora on May 28.  

The second robbery occurred in June 3 at Citibank, 100 S. 1st St. in Arcadia.   According to the FBI, the man flashed a device he claimed to be bomb. Witnesses said the man also claimed he was working with an accomplice.
