City to Offer Low-Cost Animal Vaccinations

The state-required rabies vaccinations for dogs are just one of the types of services offered during the June 15 clinic.

Glendora’s Animal Control is offering low-cost vaccinations for all dogs and cats of Glendora residents during a clinic set for this month.

During the June 15 clinic from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bandshell at Finkbiner Part, 160 N. Wabash, local pet owners can make sure their pets receive rabies vaccinations – required for all dogs under California law – for $6 each.

A complete selection of other pet vaccinations provided by Alosta Animal Hospital and the City of Glendora Animal Control will be available at discounted prices.  Clinics are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Clinic coordinators warn participants that clinics are well-attended and all who attend must be prepared to wait in line.

Dogs must wear a secure collar and leash and cats must be in a secure carrier.
State and city ordinances state that all dogs four months and older must be vaccinated against rabies.
