After Frost, Chill to Thaw with Climbing Temps

Glendora should see temperatures in the 60s this week, reaching an expected high in the low 70s by the weekend.

After several days of freezing temperatures, including a frost advisory issued for the wee hours of this morning, the chill in Glendora is expected to thaw this week.

The forecast today through Thursday calls for temperatures in the low 60s, according to the National Weather Service.  The overnight lows are expected to be in the mid to upper 40s.

That’s a marked difference from the evening and overnight weekend temperatures that dipped into the 30s in some areas.

A frost advisory is issued when areas can expect a minimum of two hours of subfreezing temperatures between 28 and 32 degrees.

The unseasonably higher temperatures could return by Friday, with the forecast calling for sunny skies and a high near 70, according to National Weather Service reports. Temperatures are expected to reach 72 on Saturday and dip a bit to 68 on Sunday.
