2012 API Scores: Willow, Washington Among Top Schools in Charter Oak Unified

See how schools in the Charter Oak Unified School District fared in recent API scores.

Glendora's Willow Elementary School in the Charter Oak Unified School District scored the highest API score in the nine-school district, according to 2012 API scores released by the California Department of Education.

Willow Elementary in Glendora earned a ranking of 9, with a score of 903, the only school in the district to score above a 900. The highest ranking a school can a achieve is a 10, indicating the school in ranked among the top 10 percent of California schools. Scores were compiled in a database by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. 

Following close behind were Washington Elementary, also in Glendora, and Cedargrove Elementary in Covina, both schools scoring an 8.

Other schools in the district earned rankings from a 3 (Oak Knoll Alternative) to 6 (Badillo Elementary, Glen Oak Elementary and Charter Oak High School).
