The Covina Rotary Club held the Dan Stover Instrumental Music Contest for seniors again this year.
The contest took place before the entire Rotary membership at the Club luncheon meeting on Thursday, March 6th. Dan Stover was an active and valued member of the Rotary Club and was always available to play organ or piano at various Rotary functions. In Dan's memory, a scholarship fund was established to encourage college bound high school students to continue their love of music and involvement with music while attending college.
Matthew Almodovar and Brett Sutton represented Charter Oak High School in the Dan Stover Contest. Both students received Honorable Mention recognition.
