On Friday, March 21 Mrs. Kathleen Pickard, Mrs. Jamie Somerville, and the Cedargrove Technology Team presented "Digital Photography, the Cloud, and the Common Core" to a room full of computer-using educators at the CUE conference in Palm Springs.
3rd graders Robbie Montes and Katie Simpson, 4th graders Alexa Garcia and Hilary Wong, 5th grader Emily Yu, and 6th graders Matthew Simpson and Austin Yu did a fabulous job showcasing the wonderful things Charter Oak students are doing using Edmodo, Subtext, Tools 4 Kids, and Green Screen technology in support of the new Common Core State Standards.
As Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Thank you Mrs. Pickard and Mrs. Somerville for going above and beyond to provide our students with a learning experience they will never forget!
