No word on any injuries involved in the fire.
Police and fire fighters responded to a small blaze that ignited at Glendora Grand, a nursing facility, Friday morning.
Authorities were unavailable to say what may have sparked the fire, which was reported to police around 12:15 a.m. Firefighters extinguished what authorities called a "contents fire" and minimal damage was done to the room it burned in.
Smoke was first seen rising out of a window to the room at the facility, 805 West Arrow Highway. Upon the arrival of officers, flames were visible inside the room. The fire was extinguished just before 12:30 a.m., according to scanner reports.
Firefighters remained on scene a while after to evacuate smoke from the building, while remaining occupants were kept in another portion of the facility.
