Pet Spaw: a Doggie's Dream Day Out

Local family-owned and operated grooming shop is the place for ultimate pet pampering.

Even pets deserve a little pampering. That seems to be the motto at Pet Spaw, the new family-owned and operated spa for pets and day-care for dogs on Route 66.

Pet Spaw, 1010 E. Route 66, is a full-service and self-service spa for pets. The Kiss family – Eddy, Denise, Danielle and Gabrielle – have over 35 years of combined experience working with pets.

Denise Kiss is a master groomer with experience grooming show dogs under her belt, while Danielle Kiss’ specialty are cats.

"Right now, we feel that we are bringing something new to Glendora. We have the full-service as well as the self-service, if people want to interact with their pets a little bit more," said Eddie Kiss.

Each family member works hard to create a clean doggie environment. This environment, 99 percent bacteria free, is sprayed with new green technology called Posishield, which is sprayed in hospitals, doctor's offices, and gyms that gets rid of any microbacteria, mold, mildew and anything else that would harm pets or family environments.

Pet Spaw brings another facet to the table with their love and personal attention towards animals. Even during a recession, Americans still love to spend money on their pets. Why?

Eddy responded: "Pets give you unconditional love and that's why Americans love dogs. They don't judge you. They're companions. When you're tired and you come home after two hours of traffic, you pet them and all that negative energy gets released."

At Pet Spaw, natural products are also used, such as their blueberry shampoo, conditioner, and tearless shampoo for the face.  The products have all been tested to create a lasting, therapeutic effect on the pets.

Please call (626)963-6900  for further questions or visit their place at 1010 Route 66, Glendora CA 91740.

They are the most dedicated and honest pet business owners I have ever met. Danielle Kiss does a fantastic job managing the new business and cares so much about animals and each pet owner's satisfaction. I know my pups are always in safe hands at Glendora Petspaw, I recommend this place, too!

the glendora pet spaw gave my dog Gigi the most amazing cut. I highly recommend this place for all your dogs grooming needs especially for poodles and bichon frise owners. They actually take the time to listen to how you want your dog cut, not just shave the dog because the groomer thinks your dog is matted. will definitely do business with them soon.

Thanks for the tip. My doxie-poo, Tony, was shaved "due to so many mats) by the first groomer we took him to in La Verne (recommended by a friend). We rescued Tony from a no-kill shelter, West End Shelter for Animals, in Ontario. I had brushed him every day and I know he didn't have mats, or at least only a few that I couldn't find. I bathe him myself, but was wondering where to take him for his next haircut--which he still doesn't need yet. I'm glad to know of a place that can do poodle hair well--and loves dogs. Tony was scared after his grooming. I could tell because he was scared to get his bath, which he hadn't been before the grooming.
