SCE is investigating who may have caused an outage that left 88 customers without power since 1 p.m. Monday.

SoCal Edison officials are trying to figure out who caused an outage that left 88 customers without power for several hours Monday.

The power outage was reported at 1:05 p.m. affecting customers within the area of East Route 66, Paddington, Foxbrook and Elwood avenues.

According to SCE, someone may have dug into the underground cable, causing the outage, although officials are trying to figure out who. An SCE spokesperson said the culprit was not one of their own employees.
