Glendora Bakery Gives Away 3,000 Free Cupcakes

The Cake Mamas, the Glendora custom bakery and cupcake shop that has been churning out gourmet cupcakes since 2010 is turning 3 years old this month, and in celebration, the shop will give away 3,000 free cupcakes throughout the month of October.

Kicking off the month-long giveaway, the Cake Mamas, 865 W. Route 66, will give away 1,000 free cupcakes Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The shop also plans to give away 2,000 more cupcakes to deserving cupcake enthusiasts.

For a chance to win up to 100 free cupcakes, entrants must send an email to charity@thecakemamas.com explaining why they or someone they know should win the cupcakes.

 “We're looking for awesome stories about your lives, struggles, overcoming sicknesses or other adversities. If you know someone in the hospital, someone getting married on a super tight budget, someone trying to raise money for a funeral, anything… We want to hear about it because we want to help,” owner Janelle Copeland wrote in a statement about the giveaway.

One winner will be selected every day for the month of October.

Each entry should include the number of requested cupcakes. Cupcakes will only be delivered during October. Multiple entries can be made throughout the month. Prizes must be picked up within one week.
