Glendora a Finalist For ‘Most Business-Friendly City’

The city is hoping a second time is a charm as it vies for the honor from the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation.

Glendora has again been nominated as a finalist for the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation’s 2013 Most Business-Friendly City in Los Angeles County.

It is the second consecutive year that Glendora has been included in the list of finalists. This year, Glendora has qualified in the category of category of “large city, population over 50,000.”

The award was established to recognize cities that promote business-friendly programs and services.

The city cited its Economic Development Plan, online permit center, a City website dedicated to business support, feedback from its business community and providing free business workshops as reasons for its latest distinction.

The LAEDC will announce the winner of the “Most Business Friendly City in Los Angeles County” Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
