The Glendora Village Business Improvement District presents the 2011 "Taste of the Village" where Glendora Village restaurants offer a variety of cuisines and tastes – Italian, Californian, fine wines, saucy barbecue, hard-to-resist sweets and much more – at the annual “Taste of the Village” accompanied by al fresco live music throughout the Village, Glendora Avenue between Foothill and Bennett.
Food TV fans will have a chance to savor a treat created by Jyll Everman, the Glendora resident and chef who was a 2011 finalist in the network’s “Food Network Star” competition. She’ll be serving her signature crab cakes and offering recipes at the Village Kitchen Shoppe, where other delectable appetizers will be served with a champagne punch.
Participating restaurants will have red balloons flying outside their entrances while stores hosting open houses and offering drawings for gift certificates, gift baskets and more will have yellow balloons.
