On the topic of the best doughnut shops in the Los Angeles area, the landmark Donut Man in Glendora is usually a requisite pick. But in the March edition of Saveur Magazine, on newsstands now, the Donut Man is one of four L.A. area doughnut shops to make the magazine’s list of the country’s best.
Jane and Michael Stern of Roadfood lists their favorite doughnut shops in the country in the magazine’s “United States of Donuts.” The Donut Man takes the food magazine’s distinction with its signature fresh fruit-filled glazed doughnuts.
Along with the Donut Man, Stan’s Donut Corner in Westwood Village, Earl’s Donuts in Chatsworth, and Doughnut Hut in Burbank were included in the list of the top 50 U.S. doughnut shops.
