Chalk Art to Grace Downtown Glendora Sidewalks

The annual Chalk Art Festival is coming to the Glendora Village Center Saturday.

Local artists will take to the streets Saturday, April 13 with the sidewalks of Glendora’s downtown village as their canvases.

Adult and student artists will showcase their work along Glendora Avenue between Foothill Boulevard  and Bennett Avenue starting at 10 a.m. with cash prizes of up to $150 awarded by 4 p.m.

Sponsored by the Glendora Village Business Improvement District, the festival will include a children’s Chalk Garden at Southland Properties. Younger children can create their own sidewalk art on a 2-foot by 2-foot square. Small bags of chalk can be purchased for 50 cents each.
