Stroll Through Local Cuisine at Annual Wine Walk

This year's Wine Walk in the Glendora will showcase international beverages and local cuisine.

Wine connoisseurs, savants or those who enjoy a night out in Glendora’s downtown are invited to enjoy a bit of Americana for the Glendora Village’s third annual Wine Walk Friday, Feb. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m.

International wines, non-alcoholic beverages and delectable hors d’oeuvres will be served at the event presented by the Glendora Village Business Improvement District.

Tickets are $40 presale available at Village businesses and $50 the night of the event. Tickets are non-refundable and non-replaceable. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Glendora War Memorial.

Approximately 25 to 30 wine tasting stops will offer a wide variety of vintages and varieties, and there will be between 5 and 10 appetizer stations throughout the Village.

“One thing we are doing different this year is we're trying to get the restaurants throughout the Village to come up with a special event catering menu so participating stops can offer food from BID restaurants,” said Sarah Trent, Wine Walk committee chairperson. “This is a great way for visitors to sample the tastiest offerings from many of our BID chefs.

Musicians will again provide a melodic backdrop to Wine Walk 2012. Solo artists and bands will be stationed throughout the Village, particularly at the Village Plaza and outside Caché and Domino’s Pizza.

The 2012 Wine Walk is sponsored by the Glendora Village Business Improvement District. For more information, call (626) 374-2156 or visit www.villageglendora.com.
