EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: PD Corrals Pit Bull That Charged An Officer

Police still investigating which of the two family Pit Bulls attacked a 13-year-old girl in her father's home.

A 13-year-old girl was injured early Monday when she was attacked by one of two Pit Bulls at her father's residence, police said.

The girl received non life-threatening wounds to her torso and an arm and was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.

One officer shot the more aggressive dog in the head in self defense as it advanced on him, but the dog was still mobile and another officer was forced to hit it with his patrol car to stop it after it fled the neighborhood.

Patch was on scene about 20 minutes after officers had the dog stopped on the westbound side of East Route 66, near Lorraine Avenue.
