Injury Crash Involving Children Reported on Lone Hill

At least one adult taken to the hospital in an accident that closed off a portion of Lone Hill.

At least one adult was injured in a two-vehicle crash involving two young children on South Lone Hill Avenue Saturday afternoon.

Glendora Police were notified by the California High Patrol dispatch about the crash some time around 4:10 p.m., according to scanner reports.

A red minivan was severely rear ended by a black Hummer. The Hummer, however, received a few dents and scratches. It is unknown at this time what caused the collision as it appeared both vehicles were both traveling southbound and were not near an intersection during the crash.

Both of the young children were checked by paramedics, but initially appeared to only be shaken up. What vehicle the hospitalized adult was in was not known. The injured party was taken to Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in an unknown condition.

Family members of the red van arrived on scene to comfort their loved ones while authorities worked to redirect traffic and move the vehicles from the road.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
