A 71-year-old woman in a Chevrolet Camaro escaped injury Friday when she braked to avoid rear-ending another vehicle, swerved, clipped a vehicle, then smashed through the plate glass window of Baskin Robbins.
According to Glendora police Lt. James DeMonde, the woman slammed her brakes in order to avoid hitting a vehicle that had stopped suddenly on Route 66.
No one was cited and no customers were in the store when the 3:30 p.m. crash occurred, the lieutenant told Patch over the telephone.

A car reportedly drove through the window of a Glendora Baskin Robbins Friday afternoon.
The car struck the store at 856 W. Route 66 at around 3:30 p.m. Glendora PD were on the scene, with the car towed from the scene at around 4:30 p.m.
Police have not yet disclosed what caused the crash or if anyone was injured in the crash.
The ice cream store had fallen victim to a similar crash two years ago when a suspected DUI driver plowed through the store's window.
