Want to See the Stars on the Red Carpet? Apply Now

If you want to see the biggest names in Hollywood, you can enter online to win seats for bleacher seats along the red carpet on Oscar night.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences began accepting online entries today from star-gazers interested in bleacher seats along the red carpet on Oscar night.

There are 700 seats up for grabs along the Oscar red carpet leading into the Dolby Theater at the Hollywood & Highland Center. The seats will be given away using a random drawing.

Winners will not only claim seats along the red carpet, but will also be invited to watch the Academy Awards at a nearby theater and be given a fan gift bag.

Entries must be submitted online at www.oscars.org/Insider. The application process began today and will continue until Nov. 16. According to the Academy, as many as 20,000 people have entered the drawing in past years.

Winners will be notified in November and be required to submit additional information for security purposes. Winners must provide their own transportation to Hollywood.

The 85th Academy Awards ceremony will be held Feb. 24.
