Today in Glendora: Brush Fire, Freshman Orientation and Traffic Watch

Local news briefs and headlines for your Monday, Aug. 12.

1.     The Glendora City Council meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 116 E. Foothill Blvd. Tuesday’s agenda includes hearings on the city’s conformance to the Congestion Management Plan and an ordinance that would allow city council, commission and board members to serve beyond their term limits under certain conditions. 3.     While fires have been raging throughout the Southland, Glendora had a small brush fire break out near the 210 freeway Saturday. Check out details here.

4.     Glendora High School is hosting a freshman orientation today at 8 a.m. to noon in the gym. A parent orientation will be tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Events Center.
