This Weekend in Glendora: A Double Homicide, Burglaries and a High School Fundraiser

The latest local headlines and news briefs for your Friday, Aug. 16.

1. Glendora Police are still searching for who may have killed two homeless men at a Glendora car wash Thursday morning, the first homicide case in Glendora since 2009. The two men were stabbed to death following a possible fight, according to Glendora Police.

2. In other Glendora news, police are searching for a group of distraction burglars who stole valuables from an elderly couple’s home.

3. Have you been to Glendora’s Farmers Market yet? The Glendora Farmers Market debuted May 11 and will continue every Saturday until Sept. 28.

4. The Glendora High School Choirs will host a car wash on Saturday 9 a.m. at America's Tires, Grand Avenue south of Route 66. Ticket presales are $5.00 or any donation accepted at the carwash.
