Southland Cools Down, Showers Expected

It’s starting to feel more like fall as temperatures cool into the 60s.

Lingering summer weather and heat waves are giving way to cooler temperatures and possible showers Thursday.

Precipitation caused by a pacific system moving south along the California coast and then inland Thursday could bring some showers and possibly thunderstorms to the Southland, according to the National Weather Service

There is a 50 percent chance of rain in Glendora, with Thursday’s high at 65 degrees.

Daytime temperatures are forecasted in the 60s in the coast and valley area, 40s and 50s in the mountains and 60s in the high desert.

Temperatures are expected warm into 70s for the weekend.
