Shepherd’s Pantry Hosts Fall Celebration Fundraiser

The Shepherd’s Pantry, a local service providing food and clothing distribution for families in the East San Gabriel Valley, will host a Fall Celebration Fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 5.

The dinner, silent and live auction will be held from 6 to 9p.m. at the South Hills Country Club, 2655 S Citrus St, West Covina. A $50 donation per person is requested.

The Shepherd’s Pantry is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations can be made payable to Shepherd’s Pantry and mailed to 657 E. Arrow Hwy., Ste J, Glendora, CA 91740. People can also support the Pantry by donating non-perishable food and gently used clothing.

The Shepherd’s Pantry provides walk-in food distribution, in-home food delivery service, clothing distribution, resource counseling and children’s reading tutor program to 10 cities in the area, including Azusa, Baldwin Park, Claremont, Covina, Glendora, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, La Verne, San Dimas and West Covina. The nonprofit is expected to serve over 24,000 people this year.
