City officials proudly posed for a Sept. 9, 1949 Glendora Press photo op in front of a new mode of city public transportation – the city bus.  Pictured are Fred O. Gregg, secretary of the Chamber of Commerce; Joe M. Finkbiner, president of the Chamber of Commerce; Converse York, city councilman; Dan Frye, chief of police, Merrill West and W.W. Dyer, both of the city council.
