Poll Workers Needed For Upcoming Election

Training session in Glendora prepares volunteers to work this year’s presidential election.

With a shortage of volunteers to work the polls for this year’s presidential election Nov. 6, a poll observer training will be hosted in Glendora Sunday.

The training will be hosted by the non-partisan group Election Integrity Project Sunday, Oct. 28 at Glendora Friends Church, 827 S. Lone Hill Ave., from 2 p.m to 5 p.m.

The training will provide volunteers with materials needed to help run assigned precincts.

Volunteers will be taught how to observe the polls, the laws and requirements of working each poll and how to communicate with voters.

Those interested must RSVP online. For more information, contact Debbie Neal at 626-335-8222.

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
