Outage Knocks Out Power to 134 Customers

'Equipment problems' caused Sunday outage, according to SoCal Edison.

About 134 Glendora customers are without power Sunday afternoon, according to Southern California Edison.

The unplanned power outage occurred around 10:50 a.m. near Morgan Ranch Road off Foothill Boulevard. Residents near Hunters Trail and Route 66 were also reporting outages in their neighborhood.

SCE estimated the power to be restored by 3:30 p.m.

The company cited “equipment problems” as the cause of the power outage, according to the SCE website.

i agree!! I've lived in the area for more than 20 years and lately, it seems the problems are escalating a lot more! Edison needs to get their "equipment" straighten out. It's happening way too often now.

There is one reason why this keeps happening - Edison is a monopoly, who's going to fire them if they don't do their job ??? No one, so they just "pocket" our money, instead of fixing problems, sooner rather than later.

You got it, like the government. The attitude is: "if you don't like it, tough sh-t, what are you going to do about it".
