Major shopping center announced on the corner of Alosta and Amelia Avenues.
Mayfair Market was announced as the anchor store for a large, major shopping center to be developed on the southwest corner of Alosta and Amelia avenues on June 17, 1965, according to the Glendora Press.
Mayfair Market, at the time a 230-market chain, would be a 20,000 square-foot store.
Groundbreaking was scheduled for mid-July, 1965.
