More Showers On the Way

Expect to see rain on Wednesday.

After a mostly sunny holiday weekend, Glendora has another phase of showers to contend with this week.

The National Weather Service is reporting a 50 percent chance of rain tonight after midnight with Wednesday facing an 80 percent chance of showers.

According to weather specialist Stuart Seto, Glendora residents should expect about 1 ¼ inches of rain this week.

The rain should clear up by Wednesday night.

Along with the rain, this week will be a chilly one for Southern California.

There will be wind advisories to the mountains and a sharp drop of temperature. Tuesday's high will be 62 degrees while Thursday's high will be 51 degrees.

According to Seto, this week's showers won't be as oppressive as

"The rain is coming in through the Pacific Northwest and will be moving very fast," said Seto.

After Wednesday, the rain should clear up. But by Sunday, Seto said there will be a 20 percent chance of showers.
